The third building developed on the Palm Desert Campus will respond to the critical need for health care professionals in the area. It will consist of 15,429 ASF/23,737 GSF of new classroom and lab space with the curriculum focus on the nursing program and related science courses. It will provide 140 FTE lecture and 37 FTE upper division lab capacity, including two computer labs with one specially equipped for distance learning. The project will also include 2000 ASF for information resources and library functions. In addition, it will provide the appropriate facilites to provide the functions of the Student Health Center in order to meet the health services needs of the students.
