| This project will construct a 35,700 ASF Science Annex to primarily house the chemistry department and few biological science labs. The project will provide additional lecture and lab space to address campus deficiencies. A subsequent phase will renovate the space vacated by the chemistry department for the health science department, which is currently housed in the health and P.E. addition and the temporary modular units. The new Annex will provide a total of 1,015 FTE capacity; 932 FTE in lecture space, 61 FTE in LD laboratory space, 22 FTE in UD laboratory space, 37 faculty offices, 2,400 ASF of graduate research laboratories, and other administrative and teaching support spaces. |
